Yeah, but they never sold them over here when they did the 3-digit S-classes. The only Honda S-class sold over here was the S2000.

Usually manufacturers design a U.S./Canada version and a rest of the world version from the get-go. It has to be much more difficult to convert an existing car to our regulations.

Speed was never really the point with little roadsters anyway, it's always been more about the handling and the driving experience. As long as its just fast enough to get out of its own way and not be boring, who cares?
